RICKY RUBIO VIVES

Hi my name is Carla and today I am talking about Ricard Rubio Vives. Because I did an Oral Presentation about him. But now I talk about his family and basket.

Ricky his real name is Ricard but his friends call Ricky.

1.FAMILY

Ricky was born in Masnou (Catalonia), on 21st of October in 1990, now he live in Barcelona and play basket with Regal FCBarcelona team.

He had one brother (Marc) and one sister (Laia), they play basketball too.

2. BASKET

When he was young Ricky play basket with Masnou basketball team (1995-2001), then he went in DKV Joventud (2002 -2005), and later when he was a professional basketball player in DKV (2005-2009) and one year later he went with Regal FCBarcelona team (2009-2010).

Now Ricky is a Spanish professional basketball player.

Timberwolves had interesting with DKVJoventut team, to buy Ricky, but Ricky says no. And on August 31 Ricky went to Regal FCBarcelona, and he signed a six-year contract.

This year Ricky won the Eurobasket (2009) with DKV

Ricky in 2008 became the best younger European player in the ACB league.

Ricky in the Olympic Games in Pekin (2008) won the silver medal with the Spanish team.

Other premium was the Supercopa with FCB (2010), Eurolliga FCB (2010), championship, Eurocopa with DKV (2008), and otheres...

Ricky debuted in the Spanish ACB League in the 2005-06 season with DKV Joventut. He won the EuroChallenge championship with Joventut that year.

3. FRIENDS

Ricky and Bojan are a verygood friends, because they was born in the same year (1990).
